Monte Amiata

Looking towards south from the meadow of the Villa swimming-pool or from the big and small balconies of the building, you enjoy the view of the tallest mountain of Southern Tuscany. It is a splendid green cone created by an ancient volcano. Monte Amiata, m. 1738, covered by fir trees on any of its sides, is an amazing place to refresh during the hotest days of summer. You can enjoy long walks sourrounded by chesnut trees. You can sit down on huge volcanic rounded stones covered by soft moss. Many villages and towns offer to you pictoresque places to have lunch or dinner tasting the tipical produces of the mountain, as mushrooms, chesnats, wildboars
